I am also a distributor for both a hand and surface sanitiser produced locally here with one of my main manufacturers located in Braeside.
The product we have is made with 70% ethanol, so hospital grade and offers a broad spectrum base coverage. We have included additional ingredients to keep the hands moisturised and a fragrance which is light and fresh. You will always have an "alcohol" smell but it shouldn't be overpowering.
We are selling this to many clients such as Australian Home Nursing Supplies, Foodworks, OzMedical, Virus Armour, Darling St Espresso Cafe, Prahran Pharmacy, Bellbird education/teacher supplies to name just a few. Purchase for your family, friends or local businesses - keep some in your car, your handbag and use the smart 5Lt jerry cans or 20Lt drums to refill and reuse your bottles.
Dont forget, the majority on the market today are produced in Thailand or China and sold under big brand names over here (Dettol, Thank you, Palmolive, Soap2Go etc etc). So even if it says 60 or 70% alcohol, recent tests by the ACCC have revealed that the alcohol content in a lot of these products is only reaching 40% which is certainly not hospital grade. Of all the products in Office Works, price line, chemist warehouse, woolies etc you will find 60-80% of these are imported and sold under an Aussie label - which is disappointing to say the least.
