It's time to capture a Fairy... This week we are making Fairy Jars!

What you will need:

• A Mason jar with a lid
• Glitter - diamond glitter works best
• Glow Sticks
• Gloves
• Tea Towel or Newspaper
• Serrated knife (under adult supervision)

Let's Create!

1. Place the newspaper/tea towel on your table to collect any overspill.
2. Ask an adult to help you with this step.  Wearing gloves, use your serrated knife to open the glow sticks.  
3. Pour the contents of your glowstick into your mason jar. The gloves will protect your hands from the liquid. 
4. Add your glitter to the jar as well. 
5. Put the lid on the mason jar, making sure it secured tightly. 
6. This next step is lots of FUN - Shake your jar so that the glitter and glow stick liquid mix together!
7. Your fairies are ready!  Your mason jar should be glittery and bright.  Enjoy the brightness for approx 8 hours.
