We are excited to announce that following this morning's announcement, effective from Friday 25th June 2021 at 9am, the Function Room will now be open and operating under the COVID-Safe Function Room Rules that were in force prior to the last lockdown.  The maximum capacity is currently sitting at 60, in line with our COVID-Safe Plan.  Residents who have made a booking over the next few weeks will be contacted by Centre Management staff over the coming days to confirm their booking details.

Our COVID-Safe Plan can be downloaded from the website at https://www.clubtrillium.com.au/estate-rules-policies-information.  A hardcopy format is available to collect near the Notice board at the club.

All residents must continue to scan the Services Victoria QR code as you enter the building.  For your convenience, the QR code has ben placed in various locations around the building. Masks must also be worn at all times when in an indoor space, including entering the building.

Sustainability for the future - E-Waste Initiative

The Victorian Government has banned all E-waste from landfill. This means that items such as batteries, electronics, cable chargers, & electrical goods should not be placed in your rubbish bins.  E-waste recycling usually involves disassembling the electronics, separating, and categorizing the contents by material, and cleaning them. Items are then shredded mechanically for further sorting with advanced separation technologies.

To help play our part in reducing landfill, you can drop off your E-Waste items into the designated recycling Bins located at Club Trillium.  The contents of these bins will be taken to our local Officeworks store and placed in their bins to ensure that the items are recycled correctly. This program will not be of a cost to the OC but will benefit the environment and contribute to reducing our landfill footprint.  It’s also a great starting point for parents to teach their children about the benefits of recycling for a more sustainable future.

Items that can be recycled in these bins include:

  • Printer Cartridges – ink & toner
  • Mobile phones
  • Pens & Markers
  • Batteries
  • Cables & Chargers
  • Computers & Accessories

Please ensure that this bin is not used for general rubbish. Rubbish is also not to be left on the floor.  There are general rubbish bins located through the club for normal any rubbish.  If you have a large amount of hard waste, you can collect the Hume City Council to arrange a hard waste collection directly from your house.    More details about recycling with Officeworks can be found on the Officeworks Website at https://www.officeworks.com.au/information/about-us/sustainability/environment/recycling
